Frontier Symphony is a symphonic depiction of the 2,400-mile migration across the North American continent to the Oregon and California Territories that took place in the mid to late 1800’s across the plains and mountains of the western United States. Inspiration came from many places, but mainly from journal entries of pioneers who left us a trail of inspiration to follow. This symphony was written alongside, and in concert with the artwork of my good friend and world renowned Cowboy Artist, Tom Browning. The music gives score to the paintings and the painting depict in visual form the music.
